1.It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I was just a girl with a camera and a dream. I started YouTube ever since high school and haven’t given it up since. I made my first mark when I opened Aroyalife Beauty on TikTok! I was the first lipgloss maker to make lipgloss viral content. I birthed a 6 figure business with zero passion in it. That’s when I stopped. It didn’t fit me.
Yes, I know it’s insane and I get it! what’s not to love about makeup? but it didn’t scream Aroyalife. I took different ventures until I stumbled on Just A Pretty Babe. What started off as a organization for young moms, postpartum moms, and moms to be turned into a Podcast which helps fund the organization I still want to pursue.
I am a wife, mom, and public figure. I’ll be 24 years old in a couple days and can I just say? I am killing it with each title I hold. Let’s talk about it! Ever since I had my baby I been on go mode! She’s looking up to me so it’s only right I show out for my baby girl.
But yes that’s me, a hard working growing woman finally in her field!
2.I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Let’s talk about it, right? Actually starting something big is the most challenging part of it all. Once you do that it’s like riding a bike afterwards.
Now, there are obstacles I had to overcome. For instance, the other day my camera fell into the ocean. I felt like my life was over. I literally said those words. That’s how I knew I found my passion.
Everything I worked on was gone. I felt alone in that moment. I was just thinking like dang, I really have to start from scratch again? I was in trouble I thought. I got word that my family ordered me a whole new camera that same night.
The next day, Director Tofu hit my line and said he was coming with his cameras and to set up his lights. I just want to pause! If you know Tofu you know he got them big boy cameras!
They really the reason the show still going on for real.
3.Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I specialize in curating content, producing shows, hosting, and acting.
As a host of Just A Pretty Babe Podcast I can truly say it’s always a vibe from beginning to end. Shout out to Dj Fabo & Dj 2x who set the tone for every interview. It’s really them and production that makes sure every star that walks in the building feels important, comfortable, and seen.
4.What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
If you desire success then quit your 9-5 and turn your hobby into profit. If your success comes with a degree then work on your resume and your experience is going to take you there.
5.Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Lili’s Touch, my mom always says success means you’re willing to go through just about anything to get it. Now, being successful I would like to say is when you got there after all it took. Pressure makes diamond. If you can go through that then you’re ready for success.
6.What’s next for you?
Well, Just A Pretty Babe will always be my home, my pride and joy. However, I am currently working on three other projects.
Summer Night Vibes is a musical short film I am starring in with Artist Shadow. It’s a pretty interesting film and we’re working like crazy to put this story out. I am not allowed to say too much at the moment. Just know it’s something you’ll wanna get your popcorn ready for and sit to watch with friends and family.
It’s been an honor working with The Collectives and being able to showcase a different side of me I never knew I had. Shout out to Director Tofu Pierre-Louis for making me feel apart and Patron for seeing the light in me.
Another project you guys should be on the look out for is Cool and Royal Tv with Mr Cool Yo Body. A podcast that will be different from the rest while bringing you guys the latest news in our city! It’s set to air this upcoming summer.
