Born Damola Adesoji, Kagedimes is a British-Nigerian artist. Growing up between South London and Ibadan, Kagedimes considers himself a combination of both cultures. This reflects how he creates music, fusing elements from both worlds he calls home to create music that cuts across genres.
Making predominantly hip-hop music: Rap and Afro-swing, Kagedimes can deliver chill rap on afrobeats melodies that metamorphose into classic feel-good tunes that keep listeners eager to hit repeat. His recent singles include ‘Don’t Talk,’ which features prolific Nigerian rapper Naira Marley, and ‘Aye Dun,’ which features Terry Apala, along with songwriting credits for other artists.
Be it in Ibadan or London, Kagedimes is creating a unique sound that’s finding ears amongst people wanting grooves.
Over steady drums interjected by piano, Kagedimes sings, “I’d give more when it’s giving me back, I don’t force when we talk or chat, I can tell she’s feeling me back.”

Coming from a place of understanding one’s worth and respecting others’ choices, Kagedimes says, “Only Fans is the product of being in love with a woman who didn’t believe anyone’s love is enough.
